I don't know why so many negative reviews if the product is taken care of - it's actually an excellent little safe for a toy :)People said the door doesn't shut all the way that's probably because of maybe a slight engineering error of that bell at the top is dragging on it, but you can bend it up out of the way underneath the front top lip (and I didn't think the alarm was that loud, but I didn't want to hear it, so that's how I handled it).So people have eiither sprung the door open or caught on the alarm bell ? otherwise it works fine if it's taken care of.Mine works great !Made of good steel and well constructed like the one I remember when I was a kid and an improved lock system with the combination dial that is better.I would buy another one - I thought it was an excellent toy safe.Very good price also and fast shipping.The size is exactly what I remember when I was a kid. Good product much better than plastic toy banks.(If the bell is too loud for your preference, then the tabs can easily be undent and put black electrical tape around the bell and it will quiet it down - then just reinstall).
