This is our favorite cable lock. We own 3 so far because it's easy for both us and the kids to use, and appears a good deal more secure than an average cable lock. (Though probably not as secure as a U-lock.)Note that if you have more than one the locks do connect together so you can make an even longer cable. We sometimes do that when we need to lock 4 or more bikes together.The armor appears to protect the cable well. I can't make room to fit a saw through by bending. If you had more leverage you might be able to, but it's definitely enough trouble to push your bike into the "harder to steal than the other cable-locked bikes.Although it's not really light it is light enough for even a 4 year old to handle. Our U-locks aren't. And the dials spin smoothly enough that kids can operate them too.
